Paddle Out for John Regan 1/16/2011

When the surfing community looses one of it own, as a tribute or a memorial gesture for them, we have what we call a Paddle Out. Everyone brings a flower and we paddle out past the waves and form a circle. Words are spoken in love of our lost one, funny stories are shared, great memories are shared… Here are a few photos from my friend John Regan’s Paddle Out in St. Augustine Beach, FL.
